SERI and The Penang State Government organised this workshop with the following objectives:-
- To emphasise the role of ICT as a key business tool.
- To strengthen the competitiveness os SMB's through the adoption of cost, quality and innovativenes of products.
- To integrate ICT into SMB's in order to improve business processes within and outside the organisation for timeliness, cost-efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- To promote awareness of ICT applications to improve overall productivity and profitability of businesses.
- To create a platform of discussion betweeen ICT vendors and ICT users.
