The Software Consortium of Penang (SCoPe), in collaboration with Invest-In-Penang Berhad, SMIDEC, Matrade and Penang Skils Development Centre (PSDC) organised a talk cum dialogue session that aimed at creating awareness of the newly set-up SME Bank and how best it could help businesses expand and grow as well as assist to nurture start-ups and budding entrepreneurs who face financial constraints.
The objectives of the talk were :
- To provide information and create awareness of the availability of funding schemes.
- To introduce and pronote local softare develpment in the State of Penang.
- To strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium businesses through the dissemination of information on access to funding and grants.
- To create a platform for discussion and networking between small and medium businesses and government agencies and organisations.
