Promoting Activities in Continuing Education (PACE) is initiated by the Penang Educational Consultative Council (PECC). PACE is based on the firm belief that education is a life-long process and facilities for continuous learning should be available to a broad spectrum of society. The main objective of PACE is to promote the culture of continuous learning by providing more opportunities to acquire new skills, ideas and knowledge. To fulfill this objective, PACE will organize year-round educational activities in the form of talks, workshops, forums, short-courses covering diverse areas such as:
PACE's activities will be conducted in different languages to reach out to all segments of our community. By extending the range of non-formal educational activities in Penang, PACE hopes to stimulate Penangites to continuously engage in new learning experiences that will enhance their skills, widen their intellectual horizons and enrich their lives.
